How can I join the PETstock team?

All of our current vacancies can be found here. You can search to find a specific vacancy in your area, and apply by uploading your resume and cover letter through the relevant job ad.

What if there are no vacancies in my area?

You can always upload your details into our Register Your Interest section. You will then be notified of any future opportunities that come up in your area.

I can’t upload my resume through the online application system. What should I do?

If you are experiencing issues with applying online for a vacancy, please email your resume and cover letter with the jobs reference number to jobs@petstock.com.au and we can upload your application into the online system on your behalf.

When will I be contacted about the outcome of my application?

All applications will be reviewed after the position’s advertised close date. We are committed to being in touch with applicants in a timely manner, however timelines may vary between vacancies. Can I volunteer or do work experience at PETstock?

Unfortunately we don’t offer volunteer or work placement programs.

Do you run any traineeship or graduate programs?

Unfortunately at this time PETstock does not run any traineeship or graduate programs. However, joining the PETstock team means you will have the opportunity to gain great experience with an industry leader who is dedicated to helping you grow your career.

Where is your Head Office located?

What can I expect from PETstocks recruitment process?

To be considered for a role at PETstock, all applicants must provide an up-to-date resume and respond to the online job application questions when applying.

After the application period has closed, the PETstock People Recruitment Team will advise you on the outcome of your application.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend up to two face-to-face interviews with the PETstock People Recruitment Team. Depending on the role, applicants may be asked to complete further assessment/s, including psychometric profiling and technical skill assessments etc. as required.

Following an interview, reference checks will be completed at the consent of the applicant/s. The successful applicant will then be contacted by a PETstock representative with a job offer.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome and that the role has been filled.

I have submitted my application, but I want to make sure it has gone through.

After submitting your application, you should receive an email from PETstock within 30 minutes. If you don’t receive this email, please contact jobs@petstock.com.au.

How do I make a change to my application?

If you would like to change your application please contact jobs@petstock.com.au. Ensure your email includes the role you have applied for and your required change/s so we may update your application on your behalf. Alternatively you may resubmit your application by reapplying for the position.

Do I have to submit a cover letter or address a Key Selection Criteria (KSC) as part of my application?

You are not required to provide a cover letter or address a KSC with your application however you are highly encouraged to provide as much information as possible within your application to give yourself the best chance possible.
