    Based in our South Melbourne Support Office, you will:
    • Work on both Australian and New Zealand PETstock ecommerce website feature implementation and development, satisfying stakeholder requirements and end-user goals while producing quality and tested output.
    • Use the languages below and technologies (not limited to) for developing/testing/debugging/issue-fixing and maintaining e-commerce websites, following the best practices of object-oriented programming and relational database design.
    • Communicate and work directly with project stakeholders and software product owners for identifying technical debts/difficulties or limitations along with clarifying system feature requirements and providing estimation timelines for the development phase.
    • Maintain and deploy system features on production, monitor live systems, provide extensive support and, well tested quality solutions with immediate effect upon any failures occurred.
    • Proactively initiate and conduct research & development work on new innovative ideas for improving the user experience, or on the existing features of both websites, that may result in overcoming any technical debts/bottlenecks or major limitations in any aspect, making a profitable impact to the business currently or in the future

    To be successful in this role:

    • At least 3+ years' experience as a PHP Developer.
    • Strong PHP development and debugging skills.

    Your daily duties will involve but will not be limited to:
    • Supervise a medium sized warehouse team (15-20) and assist the day to day running of the warehouse operations, with specific focus on receipting, picking, and the timely dispatching of goods

    • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional dog trainer with experience working with families and individuals, across a range of fields in dog training including in a mobile capacity.
    • The skill to implement training strategies based on proven animal behaviour methodologies for each dog.
    • Be highly motivated by providing solutions, dog training skills/techniques with superior customer service to dog owners.
    • Respond well to demands on your time and work effectively without direct supervisions.
    • Demonstrate a positive attitude.
    • Have the ability to make objective decisions to achieve positive outcomes.

    • Ensure the health and safety of your team is maintained at all times and that the working practices of the team comply with the Company disciplines and mandatory requirements of HS&E policies.

    As a PETstock Assistant Manager, you will:
    • Lead by example, mentoring & inspiring your team on a daily basis
    • Support your Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve & develop their knowledge and skills
    • Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience
    • Support your Store Manager in stock management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurate
    • Assist in managing visual merchandising (VM) of stock displays, ensuring VM standards are kept to
    • Be proactive in making sure you keep your knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services we provide
    • Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day

    • Be passionate about pets & providing an exceptional customer experience
    • Have proven success in a similar, supervisory role
    • Lead by example supporting your Store Manager in the success of the store
    • Have a high degree of business acumen

    • Be physically fit, with the ability to lift 20kg stock

    Based in our South Asutralian Support Office (Melrose Park), you will:
    • Respond to customer, team member and charity partner enquiries.
    • Liaise with various business units of PETstock to respond to enquiries in a professional and knowledgeable way.
    • Play an active role in the Team Giving program, ensuring its success
    • Collate and proofread various communications including but not limited to internal communications, agendas and minutes.
    • Create and maintain various files and documentation.
    • Assist to coordinatr the charity’s advisory committee
    • Assist in coordinating our charity’s many projects
    • Support the development of policies, procedures and monthly operational documents
    • Assist in event coordination
    What we need from you:
    • Experience in a similar role, with exceptional administration ability
    • Strong prioritising & organisational skills with ability to seek assistance if you need
    • Strong attention to detail
    • High degree of interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally & externally
    • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint & Yammer and Outlook (desirable)
    • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
    • Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions.
