Comments: Our Birman much preferred the lamb by Black Hawk. Whenever he had the option of both he would always finish the lamb and leave the chicken & rice. We found this very surprising because he loves chicken & rice in various other brands but this one didn't take his fancy.
Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend
Comments: We use Black Hawk for 2 of our pets (dogs and cats) the other two are older and are on special prescription food. However, up until then, they were all on a Black Hawk diet. Great value for great tasting fodder (according to our 4 legged friends)

Comments: I was using the original Chicken and Rice prior to the formula change and my many cats ate it happily and were healthy. They are looking even better with this new 'Original' Chicken and Rice.
