Ralph has been part of the industry for 29 years. Over that time he has gained experience in private small/mixed practise, working in research, and as a Veterinary officer for the Department of Agriculture before purchasing his own practise in 1993. Ralph owns a ten year old staffy girl named Pia!

Dr Dan Mills

Veterinarian
Dan graduated from Murdoch University in 2004, Since then he has been working in small animal practice within the Perth metro area. He is very client and patient focused, always looking for the best outcome for clients and patients alike. His special interests are are in soft tissue surgery and medicine. He has 2 dogs named Charlie and Indie, and a cat name Jam. Outside of work he is actively involved with his children’s sports, where he has been coaching and assisting their teams for many years.

Dr Jennifer Manester

Veterinarian
Dr Jen is a veterinary surgeon with 14 years experience working in small animal practice within WA. She has been with PETstock VET Midland since 2012 and loves the energetic and dedicated team we have developed. She has a big dog, a small rescue cat and 3 rescue guinea pigs at home who all love cuddles. She has special interests in small animal medicine, dermatology and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Sarah graduated from Murdoch University in 2019. She strives to achieve the best outcome for both her patients and clients by staying up to date with best practice. She is trained as a ‘Fear Free’ professional, aiming to make vet visits as stress-free as possible for fur babies and their parents. Her favourite quote is “be the person your dog thinks you are”. At home she has her Pomeranian x Chihuahua named ‘Chino’ – a little spunky monkey! In her spare time, she does reformer Pilates and spends time with family and friends

Practice Manager
Kristy began nursing in 2010 and for the majority of her career has been predominantly a surgical nurse. Kristy has a special interest in behaviour and enjoys helping her patients have a positive experience with us in a sometimes anxious time. She joins us in a Practice manager role where she gets to help out across the whole clinic and interact with many of our beautiful client and their pets.

Veterinary Nurse
Emma became interested in working with animals at a young age and began volunteering at a local Wildlife Shelter. She has a Cert IV in Companion Animal Studies and while studying for her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing worked as a dog trainer and in our Petstock retail store. Emma is a self-professed foodie and her free time is usually spent eating out or spending time at home with her husband Beau, their Siberian Husky Jasper, and their two rescue cats Odin and Freya. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a keen interest in surgical nursing and providing a high level of patient care to all animals in our hospital.

Receptionist/Veterinary Nurse
Helen began nursing in 2008 after a 20 year career change. She moved to Midland and started her Petstock career in 2019. Helen has chosen a reception role as her passion lies in meeting, greeting and providing the best customer service to our lovely clients.

Helen also has a special interest in rescue and has volunteered and worked in that field for many years. She says it fills her with a sense of great purpose however she has accumulated a ‘mini hobby farm’ as a result. When not at work Helen enjoys the great out doors, camping and exploring new places.

Brooke has recently joined our Petstock family bringing her 3 years of nursing experience and a bright smile that lights up the practice.

Brooke enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a special interest in pathology and surgery. At home is a beautiful 1 year old Black Labrador ‘Ella’ who keeps Brooke very busy with many beach and park trips.

Alanah

Veterinary Nurse
Alanah has been a Veterinary Nurse since 2019 and joined the Petstock team in 2021. Alanah enjoys all aspects in nursing along with learning and constantly expanding her skills. When Alanah is not at work she loves spending her time outdoors with her family and pets. Alanah has a young daughter along with her American Staffy ‘Kai’ and her two weirdos ‘Salt’ and ‘Pepper’.

Amy

Veterinary Receptionist
Amy joins the Petstock Vet team as our front receptionist. She has a background in administration and customer service roles, and is always ready to greet our patients with a smile.

At home, Amy lives with her husband, two young children, two naughty sausage dogs and a giant Siberian cat. She also has a princess parrot, budgies, stick & leaf insects, and fish.

Amy is an experienced wildlife carer and has cared for and helped to rehabilitate many native species such as birds, bats and reptiles. She is also involved in conservation projects for critically endangered Sumatran orangutans, elephants & tigers.

Amy has a friendly, caring nature and absolutely loves helping people and their pets. She looks forward to meeting you in-clinic soon!
