Dr Gloria

Dr Gloria

Head Veterinarian
Gloria graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2018 and promptly started working in a busy emergency and GP clinic in Melbourne's west. She has also spent time back at the university teaching final year vet students surgery and medicine. She joined the petstock team early in 2023, took a short break to have her first baby then returned to take on the Head Vet role. Her passions include dermatology, complex medical cases and getting to know her patients and their owners well. If you find Gloria walking around the streets of Altona with her two dogs, baby and husband on the weekends feel free to say hello!

Practice Manager
Originally from the UK, Rachel has been a Veterinary nurse since 2020 and joined the Petstock Vet team in 2021. She then transitioned to practice manager in 2024! She has interests primarily in client education, especially the importance of educating clients on their pet's dental health. She and her partner share their home with a cheeky miniature dachshund called Otis, and has two family dachshunds called Ernie and Kevin!

Dr Esther Fan

Dr Esther Fan

Veterinarian
Esther is a Kiwi, graduating from Massey University in 2009. She first worked in rural New Zealand treating all creatures great and small, from cows to cats. She then jumped the ditch in 2016 to work as an urban small animal veterinarian. Her experience includes emergency medicine, shelter work, mobile services and ultrasonography. Esther recently adopted an old, fluffy cat called Perchik who is being pampered with love! Animals are only one of Esther's passions - the others being running, hiking, soccer, violin, salsa, languages, travel and community work.

Dr Geetha

Veterinarian
Geetha graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 before returning home to the sunny island of Singapore to work in general practice. She joined the Petstock team in 2019. She is owned by a magnificent tuxedo called Portia, and her veterinary interests include internal medicine and imaging. Outside of work she is usually chasing after her toddler or enjoying a good meal and glass of wine!

Veterinary Nurse
Briar has been a veterinary nurse since 2012 and has been with the Petstock Vet team since 2015. She has a strong background in HR management driving her passion to deliver patient centered care, great customer service and support to clients due their times of need. She has a love for all bull breeds, nutrition for animals and educating clients and staff. At home, Briar has two bulldogs Lacey and Otto that keep her and her husband very busy, you may even see them in the clinic on a Saturday!

Maddi

Nursing Manager
Maddi has been with us since 2017 and has been a qualified vet nurse since 2019. Maddi brings a wealth of knowledge on all animals ranging from birds and rabbits to cats and dogs. She has a number of family animals that keep her busy outside of work, but most of all her Airedale Stanley keeps her on her toes. You will often see her cat Sharae in the clinic wondering around. With all these animals, Maddi still finds the time to have a 16 year old rabbit called Cottontail that has a move for Sharae. Maddi has a passion for educating clients, theatre and providing a gold standard of care to all our patients. Maddi loves meeting all kinds of new animals, and providing help and education wherever possible so please do not hesitate to pop in and say hello to her.

Veterinary Nurse
Lisa has been a veterinary nurse since 2020 and has been with the Petstock Vet team since graduating. She has a love for exotic creatures, particularly birds and rabbits after having worked in an exotic clinic for three years. She brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the team, ensuring great client communication is given and only the highest of standards upheld in anesthetics. She shares her home with her two fur babies, Duchess and Berlioz and a small flock of birdies.

Veterinary Nurse
Suzanne has been a veterinary nurse since 2022 and joined the Petstock Vet after graduating. Her journey with animals began long before she obtained her qualifications, driven by a deep love for all creatures. Noski, her wonderful cat, has been by her side through it all, teaching her patience and compassion with every purr and cuddle. While cats have a special place in her heart, she's excited to care for all pets with the same level of devotion.

Veterinary Nurse
Emily started her veterinary nursing career in 2020. Joining Petstock in 2024, Emily is an enthusiastic animal lover who loves to learn. Her interests are in triage, dental hygiene/care and ensuring clients have the knowledge to provide great care to their pets. In 2024, Emily is studying for a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to hopefully one day teach veterinary nursing at TAFE. She loves educating others and sharing her knowledge as she has spent all this time learning about how best to care for animals, so figures she may as well share the knowledge! Emily is a mum to Claire and two fur babies Luna and Kyra. You can find her with them when she's not at work!

Sam has been with the Petstock Vet team since 2017, managing all of our front of house duties. His expertise lies in aquariums and dog training. At home, Sam has a menagerie of pets! Outside of work, he enjoys participating in wildlife rescues with his lovely partner Kim.

Paw-fessional Team Culture Leader
Thomas was found as a stray kitten and handed into our clinic in 2023. Understandably the team very quickly fell in love with his beautiful face and cheeky personality! Tom is a big foodie and enjoys being on the patient care team, often cuddling up with anaesthetised patients keeping them warm. He frequently has holidays at many of our nurses homes and loves spending time with one of our nurses bulldogs!
