Everyday life exposes dogs to parasites.
Dogs explore the world nose-first. At the park, on walks, in the backyard, even at home. And along the way they can pick up parasites from wildlife and other animals, raw food diets (meat and offal), places where other pets have defecated (e.g. dog beach, park) and things they sniff, eat or roll in.
Many dog owners believe their parasite treatment covers everything. But until now, no all-in-one chew has killed tapeworms.
Advocate Ultra Chew now closes the gap with the broadest parasite protection*^ in a monthly chew.
Advocate Ultra Chew protects against ticks, fleas, demodex mites, heartworm and worms, including tapeworms in a single monthly tasty beef-flavoured chew.

Broadest Parasite Protection
Advocate Ultra Chew provides the broadest spectrum of protection against internal and external parasites in a single monthly dose, offering convenience and peace of mind.
The Tapeworm Difference
Unlike other all-in-ones, Advocate Ultra Chew includes praziquantel to specifically target and kill tapeworms, protecting dogs and families from dangerous zoonotic diseases.
Fast-Acting Relief
Engineered for speed, offering the fastest kill against ticks and fleas*1-5 to keep your dog comfortable and protected.
Advocate Ultra Chew is safe to use in puppies from 8 weeks of age, provided they weigh at least 2kg. Starting your puppy early ensures they are protected during their most vulnerable growth stages, especially against intestinal worms and heartworm.
Advocate Ultra Chew is dosed specifically by weight to ensure your dog receives the correct amount of active ingredients. We recommend weighing your dog before purchase and selecting the matching color-coded pack:
| Dog Weight | Pack Colour |
|---|---|
| 2.0 – 2.8 kg | Yellow (Extra Small Dogs) |
| 2.9 – 5.5 kg | Pink (Small Dogs) |
| 5.6 – 11 kg | Orange (Medium Dogs) |
| 11.1 – 22 kg | Green (Large Dogs) |
| 22.1 – 45 kg | Blue (Extra Large Dogs) |
For dogs weighing above 45 kg bodyweight an appropriate combination of chews matching the weight of the dog may be used, providing the minimum dose rate of 20 mg/kg lotilaner, 0.02 mg/kg moxidectin, 5 mg/kg pyrantel and 5 mg/kg praziquantel is met. Do not split chews. Refer to the product leaflet for full instructions.
Yes, Advocate Ultra Chew is safe for all breeds of dogs when used according to the label directions. This includes breeds that may be sensitive to certain medications, such as Collies and Shepherds, as the active ingredients are used at safe, tested levels.
Advocate Ultra Chew provides the broadest spectrum of parasite protection of all canine all-in-one products, based on the largest number of parasite species controlled. It protects against deadly paralysis ticks, fleas, heartworm, mites, and intestinal worms—including tapeworms.
Yes. Advocate Ultra Chew is the only monthly all-in-one chew that specifically targets and kills tapeworms. Only products containing praziquantel can “kill” existing tapeworms (including flea tapeworm, hydatid tapeworm and Taenia spp.). Other all-in-ones require you to purchase a separate worming tablet to get the same level of tapeworm protection. With Advocate Ultra Chew, that extra step is eliminated.
Tapeworms are a silent zoonotic risk, meaning they can be passed from pets to humans. Dogs usually don't show signs of tapeworm infection, making them a silent risk to people. They can pose a serious risk to human health.
Advocate Ultra Chew should be administered once a month. The chew must be given with or immediately following a meal.
Yes. Advocate Ultra Chew has been rigorously tested for safety.
It is also safe for use in dogs that are already heartworm-positive. However, it is a standard veterinary recommendation to have your dog tested for heartworm before starting any new prevention program to ensure their overall health and to discuss the best treatment plan with your vet.
