Dr Alex
Veterinarian
Dr Alex graduated from the University of Queensland and began her veterinary career right here in Ipswich before heading to Brisbane, where she worked as a locum in various GP and emergency clinics. She has since returned to Ipswich, excited to once again provide excellent veterinary care to the wonderful pets and families in the community.
Alex enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular soft spot for working dogs and older pets. At home, she’s ruled by two feline overlords — Doc and Mrs Kitty. In her spare time (when she can find some), she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.

Rachel
Practice Manager
Rachel is a Cert IV Veterinary Nurse with 15 years of experience across general practice, emergency and ICU. She is passionate about creating a supportive clinic environment, delivering excellent patient care, and supporting ongoing development within the veterinary team. As she works towards becoming a veterinarian, Rachel enjoys working in all areas of mixed practice, including small animals, exotics, wildlife and zoo medicine, with special interests in behaviour and emergency medicine. Outside of work, you will find her spending time with her two dogs and horses, painting, or photographing wildlife.

Tayla
Veterinary Nurse
Tayla is a Veterinary Nurse who proudly speaks fluent “meow”, “woof”, and “I swear I didn’t eat that sock”. Currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Tayla supports the veterinary team through diagnostics, surgical prep, recovery monitoring, and everyday nursing needs. When not assisting in surgery or wrestling dogs who suddenly grow 12 extra legs, Tayla can be found offering snacks, snuggles, and questionable dad jokes to the clinic staff. Her mission: keep pets healthy and humans calm – preferably in that order
Tayla has a beautiful kelpie, Dexter and a bearded dragon, Spyro who occupies her time. She also enjoys camping, fishing, Formula 1 and spending time with her family and friends. As her veterinary team knows, she is always up for a chat. Tayla is proud to care for your fury family members
