  • Dr Sugumar Subramaniam - Head Veterinarian

    Head Veterinarian

    Dr. Sugumar Subramaniam graduated from University Putra Malaysia in 2004. He then worked in various small animal practices in Malaysia for 10 years before making the move to Singapore and then Australia. He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. He has special interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and completed a post graduate course in surgery in 2009. In 2016, he completed an internal medicine course with the Center of Veterinary Education (CVE). He is trilingual, speaks English, Malay and Tamil fluently. In his spare time, Sugumar enjoys playing with his 3 year old son and traveling with his family.

    Dr Allen Yuen graduated from University of Melbourne in 2019. He then worked in a small animal practise prior to joining PETstock VET. Originally from Hong Kong, Allen lived in America for 7 years before moving to Melbourne. He has special interest in surgery and animal behaviour. He is trilingual, fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Allen likes to go hiking and playing sports on his days off.

    Dr. Yat Chi graduated with a DVM from the University of Melbourne in 2019. She then worked in a couple of high volume, fast paced small animal GP clinics in Melbourne prior to joining the lovely team at PETstock VET. Having a soft spot for cats, her keen interests are in feline behaviour and medicine. She shares her home with her cat Luna, whom she adopted straight out of Vet school. Originally from the land of the long white cloud i.e. New Zealand, outside of work she enjoys bush walking, travelling around the country and staying fit with hot Pilates.

    Lauren started working with PETstock VET in May 2015 as a trainee. Lauren graduated in November 2016 and received her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Lauren recently got promoted to practice manager. Lauren enjoys her new roles & responsibilities as manager. Lauren has two kelpies, Rosie and Biddy. Lauren spends most of her time on her family's property with all her other animals which includes her goat, cats, chickens, sheep and Cockatoo..

    Georgia is a fully qualified vet nurse having graduated in 2017 with her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She then joined the Petstock Vet team that same year after having completed her placement at the clinic. Georgia is a registered member of the VNCA and was voted as a 2019 finalist in PETstock's Veterinary Nurse of the Year.Georgia loves all animals big and small and is passionate about providing the best standard of care for all her patients. Her main interest lies in surgical nursing and emergency and critical care. She is also looking forward to expanding her knowledge and studies in wildlife and captive animals in the future.When she's not at work caring for the animals, she loves to look after her cheeky black cat and her adorable rescue dog at home.

    Mai has recently graduated from Melbourne Polytechnic and has been welcomed into the team as a veterinary nurse.

    A small girl with a big heart, Mai loves working with animals of all shapes and sizes. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and skills further while working at PETstock VET.

    Mai enjoys road tripping with friends and keeping count of dogs along the way - her highest count sitting at 36 dogs on the way to Apollo Bay.

    Mai has a shitzu x jack russell named Tofu and hopes to adopt a cat in the near future.

    Krichelle has completed her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She first started as a trainee at the clinic in 2018 and is now a qualified veterinary nurse.

    Krichelle has a big love for all animals, she thoroughly enjoys vet nursing and looks forward to learning and gaining more skills as a vet nurse.

    In her spare time she enjoys baking and travelling. Krichelle has 2 cute senior dogs Marcia and Jasper.

  • Rhiannon Bianco - Veterinary Nurse

    Rhiannon has always wanted to work in the animal care industry for as long as she can remember. After studying and working in the industry for 3 years she has successfully completed her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing and now a full-time nurse and loving her job!
    Rhiannon loves all animals great and small and is passionate about providing the very best of care for all her patients.

    She has a special soft spot for horses and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and skills further with equine studies. Having such a strong interest in horses, it will come as no surprise that she owns 2 Standardbreds Rocky & Reign. In her spare time she volunteers at a horse riding ranch taking guests out on trail rides.

    Rhiannon also has several fur-children & it’s a full house with ball-obsessed Boss the American bulldog cross, Betty the boisterous British bulldog & 3 cat’s named Sim, Cookie & Hades.
