Dr Megan

Dr Megan

Head Veterinarian

When you first meet Dr Megan you can’t help but feel at ease with her huge smile and relaxed nature making it seem you have known her a while. Lucky for us, we have! Dr Megan first joined us around 6 years ago and leads our team working closely alongside Dr Anna and our management team. Her wealth of experience & knowledge , diligence and all rounder approach makes her days full to the brim with complex cases, mentoring our less experienced vets and making sure the ship runs as smooth as possible. Part of the furniture, Megan works at both clinics as well as being our guru for exotic/wildlife animals; in particular for the many awesome creatures at Ballarat Wildlife Park. Megan is a natural leader who always checks in with her team and makes work days fast paced but fun. We are so grateful for her and Anna leading our team. When Megan gets a spare millisecond, she can be found spending time with her family and pets, birdwatching and enjoying a hot choccie!

Dr Jess E

Dr Jess E

Veterinarian

Yes we are lucky to not have just one amazing Dr Jess in our team, but two! After graduating from the University of Adelaide, Dr Jess joined our team in 2019 & has been a constant source of care for many of our patients. Upon meeting Dr Jess, it’s notable that being a veterinarian is exactly who she is meant to be. All animals from largies, to smallies to shelter animals and wildlife, Dr Jess throws herself in head first and thrives in emergency/critical care cases. Her prowess makes her an excellent mentor to our less experienced staff, always mentoring those who need it. Dr Jess has a soft spot for shelter medicine and with our clinic working closely with Ballarat Animal Shelter, Jess ensures those animals yet without homes still get the best care. When not at her second home (the clinic), you’ll find her out hiking with her staghound, Clancy, snuggling her cat, Penny, getting sweaty at hot Pilates & yoga, or at a Dreggs concert. Thanks for all you do Dr Jess!

We can usually find Dr Kate in dirty overalls attending to our on site farm calls or cuddling up to a patient whilst she writes her histories. Kate is such an asset to our team, always putting her hand up to help and putting her patients first. Kate currently shares her home with an elderly cat, two rats and a small flock of very pampered chickens. Thanks for all you do Dr Kate!

Dr Sarah

Dr Sarah

Veterinarian
A new lovely face that’s joined our team is Dr Sarah. After recently working as a locum vet in a few clinics Dr Sarah did some shifts with our team and decided to make the shift permanently (much to our happiness!). Dr Sarah hit the ground running here, taking on exciting cases and sharing her time at both PS Delacombe and BPFV. Make sure you say hi next time you see her! Dr Sarah finds the most rewarding part of her role as a Vet, is the tie between giving a voice to animals in a way that helps owners to better understand their pet needs. And with that understanding to achieve the best quality of life for their beloved pet. We absolutely love this. An invisible, but so important string. In her spare time, Sarah loves yoga, cross stitch and going for a stroll. We are so glad you are part of our team Sarah. Thanks for all you do!

Another new wonderful addition to our team is that of Dr Cath. Dr Cath joined us in Nov 2025 and has worked as a veterinarian for over 20 years. With decades of wisdom under her belt, Dr Cath also has further qualifications in small animal internal medicine both here in Australia and in the UK. Hospital cases and patients with comorbidities tickle her fancy, as Dr Cath enjoys a challenge. However, her favourite part of the job is supporting families as their pets grow from playful babies into senior companions, through both joyful moments and health challenges. You can find Dr Cath working at both of our clinics. Outside of work and being a busy Mum, Cath loves a good coffee, collecting Dr Martens and weight-lifting. Thanks for all you do Cath!

Paris

Paris

Hospital Nurse
Paris joined our team back in Nov 2020 and has been an integral part of our nursing team ever since. An amazing day at work for Paris is being assigned as "Hospital Nurse", being responsible for all intensive care patients admitted to the clinics and essentially caring for them round the clock. This is a demanding role with an endless list of duties such as administering medications, feeding and cleaning, performing procedures such as placing IV catheters, blood tests and much more. A role like this is perfect for Paris who is usually zooming around the clinic non stop, multitasking x 1000 and advocating for her patients to ensure they receive the best possible care when staying with us. Paris's calm nature and fear free approach in particular is wonderful for our more sensitive and anxious pets who visit us. Being part of our team means a lot to Paris, as she sees her colleagues as friends and finds that everyone uplifts and supports each other especially on those tough days. When not in clinic, Paris loves gardening, propagating flowers and plants and chilling out with her chickens. Thank you Paris for all you do!
