Our dedicated practice manager, Lee Baker, has a long history in the veterinary industry. Lee has a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, Diploma in Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Lee is dedicated to providing passionate pet care to every patient and building strong lasting relationships with their owners. Lee's background in nurse education means she is keen to educate anyone who is keen to learn! (animal owners included). When you meet Lee at Hoppers Crossing, you will quickly realise she is a vibrant, friendly and motivated team member, who inspires those around her by oozing an infectious enthusiasm for her job and sincere love for her patients.

Dr Kate is one of our senior vets and practice partner. Before starting with Petstock Vet, Kate worked for 15 years as a partner of Altona Veterinary Clinic and prior to that she worked and travelled overseas. Kate is a keen surgeon and has completed postgraduate studies in surgery. Kate has two sons – Nick who is studying Commerce at Monash University and Will who loves all sports, especially cricket. Thankfully, Kate loves sport of all kinds as this has become her life bringing up 2 boys! Kate plays netball every week, runs and goes to box fit to keep fit. She also loves skiing, music and the beach.

Sanjana qualified as a veterinarian in Queensland in 2017. Sanjana has worked in clinics in Brisbane and Auckland. She joined the team in August 2024. Sanjana endeavours to use her medical knowledge to empower clients by helping them to give their pets the best care. Sanjana also holds a membership in Animal Welfare with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and does regular work for an Animal Ethics Committee. When not in the clinic, you’ll usually find her listening to music, writing or out on a walk.

Dr Carla graduated from the University of Melbourne with a DVM in 2020. Carla joined our wonderful team with several years of industry experience, working as a veterinary nurse for prior to graduating. Dr Carla is passionate about making the veterinary visit as stress free as possible for your fur babies and is an accredited fear-free practitioner. Carla’s special interests include pain management in elderly patients, birds and wildlife. Carla is the doting parent of Labrador Freya and her affectionate cat Pandora. Outside of the vet practice, Dr Carla is an acrobatics instructor and loves keeping fit through dance and yoga.

Rachel joined the Petstock family in September 2016 as a small animal veterinarian. She graduated in 2013 from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a Bachelor of Animal Science. Rachel also has a Masters Degree in Conservation Medication. Rachel has worked in general practice, vet emergency, exotic and small animal clinics in the years since her graduation. Rachel currently works between Petstock Vet Hoppers Crossing and as an emergency vet at the Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency in Collingwood. In her spare time, Rachel volunteers regularly at Melbourne Zoo doing wildlife research. Rachel has a special interest in exotics and pocket pets, and loves seeing all manner of scaly, feathered and furred critters. When not working or studying, Rachel enjoys reading, music, and embroidery.

Dr Vincent is our freshest vet, graduating from the University of Melbourne with a DVM in 2022. Dr Vincent first met our team during 3rd year student placement. He loved us so much he continued to come back for placement during his remaining years as a vet student. We loved Vincent so much that he joined our team as a casual veterinary nurse on Saturdays so he could develop his communication skills and knowledge before graduating. Vincent moved to Australia from Malaysia. He can speak both English and Malay fluently. Initially Vincent was studying human medicine, but during his final year of undergraduate study, he decided animals were where his passion laid. Vincent’s special interests include internal medicine, feline medicine, skin disease and making the vet visit as stress free as possible. Dr Vincent is a proud parent of two Ragdoll cats, Yuki and Yuzu. Outside of work, Dr Vincent loves playing video games, especially Dota 2 and watching animes or kdramas. So don’t be too afraid to chit chat with him.

Dr Sasha graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 with first class honors and has been working with our team since 2023. As a child Sasha was always drawn to animals in need. Now working as a vet, Sasha loves meeting clients, particularly those whose love for their pets is apparent. Sasha also enjoys educating clients on how to best care for their pets. Sasha worked in emergency and critical care hospitals for many years, before moving back to general practice in 2023. Motherhood is Sasha's life. She has four young children, a loving husband and gorgeous Archibald the cat. In her spare time, Sasha loves caravaning and cooking with the family, catching up with friends, reading, art and craft and much more.

Siobhan joined our team in January 2021 as Head Veterinary Nurse. Siobhan’s love for animals began at an early age. Any creature who crossed her path received her undivided care, this included, snails, tadpoles, kittens and horses. Just to name a few! Before joining our team, Siobhan worked at the University of Melbourne Veterinary School as an anaesthetist, teaching final year vet students the practical aspects of anaesthesia and analgesia. Previously she had worked in a large rural mixed practice, a specialist surgery practice, a large equine hospital, an emergency and ICU hospital and metropolitan general practice. Siobhan values her time with every patient. Most importantly, Siobhan aims to provide a stress-free experience when patients visit the clinic. Siobhan loves the challenge of tailoring anaesthesia and analgesia plans for every patient, including anxious, aggressive and compromised patients to ensure the best outcome. When not at work Siobhan enjoys long distance hiking, travel, horse riding and skiing. Siobhan is currently owned by two cats who figured she was a big enough sucker to give them a home.

Katie joined our team in January 2018 and went on to complete Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing later that year. She has always loved animals and enjoys her own menagerie of adorable critters at home, owning dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, mice, and frogs! Katie especially loves helping patients get the best possible care through positive vet visits and client education. Katie enjoys being part of such a hardworking team who all support each other and create a wonderful work environment.

Jess joined our team October 2020 as one of our friendly receptionists. Being a veterinary receptionist inspired Jess to embark on studying again. Jess is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Jess made the move to Melbourne after growing up in country Victoria. Jess loves going back to visit her friends and family when she can. Jess is kept very busy with her study and loves that no two days are ever the same in her job.

Shell moved to Australia from New Zealand where she completed her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing 17 years ago. Shell has worked across several fields in the vet industry, including general practice, emergency & critical care and specialist surgery nursing. Shell enjoys teaching and helping student vets and nurses who are studying in the veterinary field. Shell is a Cat lover, having 3 of her own at home, but Shell also loves dogs and exotic pets too. Shell used to own rats and turtles as pets, they were all such fun and had very interesting personalities.

Emma qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2023 and joined the Petstock family in early 2024. Emma has loved animals since she was little. She is eager to help educate owners about preventative health for their pets and loves assisting with dentals. Emma is passionate about all things outdoors. She spends her spare time camping and hiking with her Border Collie, Bella.

Mon joined Petstock Vet Hoppers Crossing in February 2022. Mon has a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience and a Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing. Her passions are animal behaviour and animal reproduction. Mon is an active animal foster carer specialising in neonatal kittens and puppies. Mon is a lifelong learner with hopes of continuing her education by enrolling to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In the meantime, Mon will continue to utilize her current nursing skills in our veterinary practice. Mon has three wonderful fur babies of her own, Arya, Duke and Summer.

Jenny is in her final year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing and is set to graduate at the end of 2025. Jenny joined our team in late 2024 and has been passionate about gaining hands-on experience and expanding her knowledge in veterinary care. Jenny is dedicated to provide compassionate and high-quality care for all furry family members. During her spare time, Jenny enjoys playing with her dog Pepper and catching up on the latest video games.

June first started her pet care career as a puppy schoolteacher in 2019. She joined the Petstock family as a store manager at Hoppers Crossing in 2021. After some time in grooming, June joined the Petstock Vet team as a receptionist in 2025. June has worked hard to gain experience and knowledge in animal care, with a hope of becoming a vet nurse in future. June is passionate about animals. She aims to help them always feel their best and get positive care. June has 1 dog named Cookie, 3 cats named Socks, Donny and Roxy and a tank of fish!

Olivia joined the Petstock Team in January 2025. She had completed her Veterinary Nursing studies in 2020 but found working at reception is where her passion lies. Olivia loves learning about animal behaviour and would one day like to work in the behaviour, rescue and rehabilitation field. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys hanging with friends and her pets, adventures, music and baking.
